I had to see a doctor last week. They tried to fob me off with a telephone conference. I refused and insisted on a face-to-face. They were intransigent. I don't see why they should get paid for not giving the service I require. So I went home and wrote a letter demanding I be de-registered from the surgery. I took it along to the surgery and handed it to the Operations Manager along with a mouthful and proceeded to find another surgery. Found one just around the corner. Told them why I left the other surgery and asked if I could make an appointment for a face-to-face. They said fine but it wouldn't be for a week or so. I registered at that practice and duly attended the appointment 12 days later. Saw the doctor. Was in there for 45 minutes. He wanted to me to get an ECG, blood tests and chest x-ray done because of his concern about my condition and re-evaluated my prescriptions. Phoned the hospital to make the appointments which they scheduled for only 3 days later. Walked through the hospital door and 15 minutes later walked out having done them all. The place wasn't really empty but I only waited 15 seconds for the blood test, 45 seconds for the x-ray and 90 seconds for the ECG. Most of the 15 minutes was walking to find the departments. There was no-one else in any of the three different waiting rooms! So here's my advice. Deregister from any doctor that refuses a face-to-face to deprive them of payment. Find another practice if you can or go to the hospital if you have to as they seem to have bugger-all else to do. Almost forgot. I wasn't wearing a mask either. No-one challenged me at the hospital but at the doctors surgery I was politely asked if I would like one-which I of course refused.

Prescient videos since I've been asking myself the same question for some time now. I've been avidly watching the website ukconstitutionallaw.org for some sign that challenges are incoming. Nada. Wittering on about law technicalities around Brexit and the occasional "big brain" take on fee collections but nothing about the destruction of our Constitution and rights being stripped ad-hoc. The only Constitutional lawyer I've seen anything about is the one that likes to club foxes to death with a bat. Fair Cop is doing a great job but these Constitutional lawyers should be up the Government ass with Judicial Reviews and court cases fighting fines for lockdown. Where's the UK's equivalent of Robert Barnes or Viva Frei?
